The CEOs of Meta (Mark Zuckerberg), Amazon (Jeff Bezos), and Oracle (Larry Ellison) own superyachts worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
“Owning a yacht is a way to show success and wealth,” Giovanna Vitelli, Vice President of the Azimut Benetti Group, the world’s largest superyacht manufacturer, told Business Insider. Mark Zuckerberg of Meta is the latest tech billionaire to join the yacht owners’ club.
A superyacht is defined as a boat that is at least 70 meters long, mostly custom-built, and usually priced at nine figures in USD.
Eric Schmidt: Whisper
Former Google chairman Eric Schmidt bought back Kismet last year, a 95-meter superyacht built by Lürssen and previously owned by billionaire Shahid Khan of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Schmidt then renamed Kismet to Whisper.

Whisper can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 28, featuring a main deck with a private bubble pool, full-service spa, split-level swimming pool, movie theater, and outdoor fireplace. The superyacht’s price was not disclosed but is estimated to be around $161 million.
Jeff Bezos: Koru and Abeona
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos owns two superyachts, including the 127-meter-long Koru valued at $500 million, which attracted attention last year when it crossed the Mediterranean Sea. Previously built in the Netherlands, it caused controversy when Bezos wanted to dismantle a historic bridge in Rotterdam for the yacht to pass through.

Koru is massive and uniquely designed, the largest and tallest sailing yacht in the world with three masts up to 70 meters. Bezos often uses it to host famous friends and his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez. The couple is said to have hosted their engagement party on board, with guests including Bill Gates, Ari Emanuel, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Another superyacht owned by Bezos is Abeona, 75 meters long and priced at $100 million, added earlier this year to please Sanchez. The yacht’s space accommodates 45 people, including crew and guests, with a helicopter landing pad on top.
Mark Zuckerberg: Launchpad
Earlier this year, industry insiders revealed that Meta’s CEO had purchased Launchpad, 118 meters long and originally designed for a Russian entrepreneur.

The superyacht made its first trip in March from Gibraltar to St. Maarten and docked in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Detailed information is undisclosed, other than it featuring a large swimming pool, helipad, and priced in the nine figures.
Larry Ellison: Musashi
Oracle software founder Larry Ellison has bought and sold several yachts over the years, including Katana, Ronin, and Rising Sun. In 2011, he purchased Musashi for $160 million from Feadship shipyards and continues to use it today.

Named after a famous samurai warrior, Musashi is 88 meters long, inspired by Japanese design, and equipped with amenities like elevators, a swimming pool, beauty salon, gym, and basketball court.
Sergey Brin: Dragonfly
Google co-founder Sergey Brin has built his own fleet of yachts called the Fly Fleet, with the largest superyacht being Dragonfly – named after a Google secret project. Other smaller yachts include Butterfly, Firefly, and Jet Skis.
